These are a bit of a mystery and thanks to Tony for sending them to me. I think I remember these from my local shop in the 1970s - what I am not sure about is when Miniature Figurines brought them out, and whether they were originally intended for use with the HO/00 or 20mm figures, or for use with S Range figures. As they seem to scale out better for use with the 20mm figures I have posted them here rather than on the Lone S Ranger. Short of going through hundreds of old Minifigs adverts in Wargamers Newsletter the best way to find out seems to post them here and see if anyione knows.

These aren't the self adhesive flags are they? I remember those from the late '70s, and they were definitely scaled for the 25mm range.....so i've just answered my own question...
Doug, yes they are the self adhesive ones - at least they were: the backing paper is still in place. I must admit my comment on scale was based solely on a quick comparison with some Rofur flags, so they may have been 25mm.
