Lamming Medievals: MF 9a British pikeman (chain mail)

It seems to me that this figure must be MF 9a. It is the same figure as the crossbowman, but with a different separate arm. I think perhaps this is a variant as I wouldn't describe the weapon moulded to the arm as a pike.
